No one had thought that Bihar would ever emerge out from the darkness.But Nitish Kumar has once again done the unthinkable.The power situation has indeed improved.The most pleasing aspect is the quality of power.Now one can watch T.V at a stretch for hours.Voltage is generally good.One hopes that situation would further and the long cherished dream of people will be fulfilled at last.
Now another good news in that front is that NTPC will develop a 1320 MW (2 X 660 MW) Thermal Power Project at Kajra in Lakhisarai district of Bihar. A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between NTPC, Bihar State Power Generation Company Limited (BSPGCL) and Lakhisarai Bijlee Company Private Limited (LBCPL) on 22nd February, 2014 at Patna in Bihar.
