Nitish Kumar has so far maintained great restraint despite being edged out from the mainstream national media.This kind of utter humiliation is not easy to cope with but he has maintained his sanity to a great extent.
He can easily gain media attention by abusing Narendra Modi but he has not resorted to that tactics regularly .Sometimes he does that in order of being relevant in the present political scenario.But that is not very often so no one should have any complaint about that.
His precarious situation should be understood with sympathy.Any other politician would have quit public life after that kind of downfall.But Nitish Kumar is holding out despite being ridiculed and subjected to all kind of unsavory jokes is reflective to his true character.
Narendra Modi is responsible for his pathetic situation.Had he not accepted to be the prime ministerial candidate and allowed Nitish Kumar to fulfil his cherished ambition than the story would have been completely different for him.But Narendra Modi did not show that generosity and as a result made Nitish Kumar politically redundant.
Now after observing him closely it appears that he is not as smart as he was thought to be.His greatest weakness is his intemperate behaviour.He was much criticised when he had cancelled dinner invitation to some BJP leaders in Patna.It was very uncivil behaviour but it was thought to be an exception at that time.But now it appears that he has absolutely no personal integrity.
He has gone back to his mentor Lalu P.yadav that can be explained.But he had to bow to the Gandhi's to save the government that exposes his whole persona.It is thus clear that he has no principal,ideal and political honesty .Lalu P.Yadav seems to be a paragon of virtues in comparision to him now.
The good thing however is that he is politically finished now.At best he can play a second fiddle to RJD and Congress now.
